Ciro Ramirez, PhD, CSHO, PE (Retired)

Dr. Ramirez has over 45 years of engineering experience, including product design, structural and mechanical analysis, and collision reconstruction. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering degree from Rice University in 1973, his Master of Mechanical Engineering degree from Rice University in 1974, and his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin in 1991. Dr. Ramirez has 10 issued patents and is a retired licensed professional engineer in Texas, Mississippi, and Kansas. He was accredited as an accident reconstructionist by ACTAR and was an OSHA certified safety and health official (CSHO) in General Industry and Construction. Dr. Ramirez retired as a testifying expert consultant in 2019 but continues to participate with RLF as a resource, leveraging his many years of experience.
